I am a board certified emergency physician who has been practicing in the Capital District for more than 10 years. I grew up in Clifton Park, NY. As the son of a nurse and chemical engineer I knew I always wanted to pursue a career in Medicine. I went on to study biomedical engineering and economics at The Johns Hopkins University during which time I was also a member of the soccer team. I had the honor of staying at the school to earn my medical degree. I completed my postgraduate training at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Hospital where I was Chief Resident of Emergency Medicine. Following residency I moved back to Clifton Park and have worked in Albany and Troy. I have been the Assistant Director of Emergency Medicine for a local emergency department for 8 years. On a more personal level, I have been married to my beautiful and talented wife for 8 years. We are the proud parents of 4 children and have helped raise 2 foster children. When not playing with my children I enjoy running, soccer, basketball and skiing. We are active members of our church and enjoy serving in many different capacities. I have been tremendously blessed in my life and hope to be a blessing to those whom my path crosses. Contact Dr. Michael Bibighaus at 1-844-484-7362.
